The objective of this design project is to study the client thoroughly and completely understand their style, USP, sizing, product range and study the upcoming trends in order to come up with a design that best fits the requirement of the client. The client here is Indian brand RANGRITI which is famous for designing ethnic and casual wear for Women and is famous for the use of experimental textiles and using the power of craftsmanship. The collection is designed for Spring Summer 2020-21 The theme of my collection is HERITAGE. The basic idea behind keeping this theme was that people are attracted towards the culture and traditions of India. The hand embroidery represents the culture in a very beautiful and unique way and RANGRITI itself uses embroidery for the better communication among the women. This collection blends with contemporary sensibilities with traditions of excellence. My collection basically focuses on casual wear with two styles: flared and straight kurta.
